Remember the days when everyone just had to have a slum book or autograph book as we would like to call it. I remember having around 5 slum books and it was like the "hottest item" when we were still little kids and enjoying the simple life without having to constantly rely on the wonders of technology. On the way home in the midst of traffic, me and Bunny were discussing about autograph books and how we look silly with our answers back then. While chit-chatting about it we stumbled into this question which is basically mentioned in almost all autograph books: What is your motto in life?
Bunny and I then began having those serious talks which is almost like "philosophizing". I told her that my answer back then would go something like 'Try and try until you succeed' or those 'Practice makes Perfect' stuff. However, if I am confronted with that question right now, I would simply state this song lyric from MGMT's "Time to Pretend": This is our decision, to live fast and die young. We've got the vision, now lets have some fun. Somehow I realized that some of my experiences, decisions, and principles are influenced by those lyrics which is why for this week I will be sharing some of them.
Basically for me my motto is all about living life to fullest as much as possible because: a) you never know when your time will be up, in short anytime accounts for that matter; and b) I want to eliminate regrets as much as possible and do not want to end up old wishing and blaming myself that I should have done those things when I was still young.
So how about you, what is your motto in life?
