Tony and Michelle

I was never really keen on Tony and Michelle's relationship nor did I really pay much attention to it compared to the other ships (mainly Jal&Chris and Sid&Cassie). I find their relationship to be very routine-ish especially during Series 1. They would flirt, Tony cheats, Michelle finds out about it, they fight, they make up, flirt again, Tony cheats with a boy this time, and it just goes on and on. However, their last scene in the final episode of Series 2 as they were reflecting their relationship (which was also the final episode for the second generation) made me see them in a different light.

Skins: Everyone (2.10)
While in the car after dropping Sid off in the airport
Michelle: We were good weren't we?
Tony: We were better than that

I really like their final scene and is actually one of my favorite scenes even though I wasn't really a fan of them together. It was a really good ending to both of their characters and their relationship. Somehow it showed that regardless how dramatic and turbulent their relationship was, I'm sure they had a lot of good times that definitely surpassed all the problems they encountered. Series 2 really tested their relationship especially with Michelle coping with Tony's "amnesia" after the bus accident we saw in the final episode of series 1. Even if they left us hanging if they are still together since they're going to different universities, Tony and Michelle still shared something special and had a relationship like no other in spite of everything they've been through.
